Sandy B
Exclusive to guests at The Bay Hotel over summer, Sandy B is a unique cocktail venue, accentuated by its glorious views of Camps Bay beachfront.  With wooden loungers bordering the rim flow pool, positioned at the end of the expansive wooden deck, guests are beckoned to relax with cocktails and appreciate the atmosphere.  

Sporting events are screened and guests can support their favourite team while light meals can be ordered from the Deli. Heating up at sunset, cocktail hour is a vibrant time, setting the tone for the rest of an exciting evening in trendy Camps bay.



Deli

Deli at The Bay offers great value and superior service with only the highest quality teas and coffees, along with a selection of the finest gourmet sweet and savoury delights.

It also boasts a wide variety of carefully chosen local estate wines for purchase. Light meals and beverages are served by the poolside as well as on the deck.



Traders
Traders is the Bay Hotel’s bar and cigar lounge, a relaxed venue offering a selection of aperitifs, wine, champagne, digestifs and a walk-in cellar. Under the wisdom and experience of Trader’s dedicated barman, Caamil, patrons at Traders are guided into savouring fine wines and spirits, champagne and cigars before and after dinner. Caamil has a following of customer’s who are devoted to Caamil and Traders, having built up a relationship with him in his 10 years at The Bay Hotel.  Traders comes alive at night with a crackling fire and the buzz of guests chatter rising above the striking hues of the setting sun.



Retreat Kitchen
The Retreat Kitchen at Camps Bay Retreat is a breathtaking mix of sea views combined with the atmosphere of a mountain retreat.  The Retreat Kitchen is set within the beautiful old manor house and patrons are invited to dine on the terrace, overlooking the sprawling 4.5 acres of indigenous gardens and trees, or in the intimate lounge area.  Breakfasts and lunches are a treat, surrounded by the natural beauty of the retreat, whilst dinners on a chilly night can be warmed by the glow of the fire in the dining room.

The Farmhouse Hotel

The dinner menu at The Farmhouse Restaurant is rich with satisfying meals, from simple to hearty, perennial favourites, to local West Coast fare. With three cuts of steak, you can be assured of satisfying your meat cravings, and popular dishes, such as the oxtail, are worth coming for alone! Seafood comes straight from the boats on the West Coast and meals range from creamy mussels to catch of the day. Wind down with an aged port in the bar before you retire, but only after a scoop of their famous homemade ice-cream.



The Charles
The Charles Coffee Shop is a special meeting place with the charm of an era steeped in history and diversity.  With its mismatching wooden furniture, sash windows and preserved Georgian fireplace in the original lounge where guests now dine, the Charles evokes a sense of nostalgia.  Being one of the only restaurants in the area to serve food that celebrates the history of the district, diners at The Charles will be enthused by the assortment of exotic Cape Malay inspired dishes.



Palm Cafe

Palm Café, at the Camps Bay Resort, offers guests leisurely breakfasts, light lunches and delicious hot freshly brewed coffee all day. Guests staying at the resort are spoilt with the fresh sea air rolling in as they start their day with a scrumptious omelette or health breakfast and enjoy a freshly made Roti wrap or salad for lunch.

Special touches include a children’s menu and a pool service menu, for sun worshippers lounging by the pool. The menu includes beverages, creative salads and delicious platters.
