This incorporates the promotion to an extensive trade network, including both international and local tour operators and travel agents. Frequent sales trips are conducted locally and internationally and they host and attend local and international workshops and trade shows, including the very popular SA trade show, Indaba. The sales office assists with information on all Village & Life products including rates, contracting, brochures, web requirements and providing up to date marketing material.

The online sales department is responsible for maintaining and managing the online distribution network for all Village & Life properties. We ensure all properties are promoted to the maximum number of potential customers through the use of various online systems. Our service responsibilities include; the build and development of a mutually beneficial relationships with all online clients, maintaining rate parity and real time distribution of rates & availability. The online networks includes, Internet Distribution Systems, Global Distribution Systems and Direct Booking Engine

Brian discovered his passion for food when he started as a kitchen porter whilst travelling through Europe. After returning to South Africa he trained at top class restaurants in and around Cape Town such as The Garden of Africa in Stellenbosch, The Railway House in Muizenberg and The Brass Bell in Kalk Bay. In 2006 he partnered a friend in opening the very popular Noisy Oyster Restaurant in the West Coast town of Paternoster. He joined The Bay Hotel in 2011.
